Model United Nations

The UCCS Model United Nations club, established in 2024, focuses on developing student leadership, public speaking, and international relations skills. Through simulation-based learning, UCCS MUN aims to foster a collaborative future for student leaders. The award-winning club has traveled to UC Santa Barbara and Georgetown University to compete in prestigious national conferences and hosts its own annual conference. Other club events include annual MUN scrimmages “HallowMUN” in October and “MUN of the Irish” in March. UCCS Model United Nations conferences are scored using Best Delegate, and club members annually elect their Secretariat. PSC 4530 Model United Nations provides interested students the opportunity to learn MUN procedures and plan competitions and conferences
